Pleated Plaid Trousers

I was so curious about this pattern from BurdaStyle 12/2017.
I bought the fabric at and my plan was to use it as lining for a jacket,
but then I realized it would be nice for these pants as well.
When sewing with plaid fabric it's all about cutting the pieces very carefully
so the squares matches exactly.

The Waistcoat is an earlier project, and so is the Wool Top

Peplum Jacket

Here is the story how I made this lovely jacket.

The pattern I have chosen is from Burda Easy 02/2017

I found this beautiful wool brocade fabric in a local shop.
It very nice with the woven silver treads,
so I decided it would be great for a short jacket.
This is how it's going to look like.
I had to treat the parts very nicely since it's fraying a lot.

I have used silver piping for the neck-line.
The sleeves are ready to be sewn on the body.
The lining is cut and sewn together.

Jacket is finished!

Jersey / Lace Top

I love to use a combination of different fabric 💕
Jersey with print is great together with lace.
I think it's sweet and chic at the same time.
This is a great pattern and it's easy to make different versions :)

Transformation Dress

Wool is warm and delicious to wear at Wintertime!                                     I love my orange cashmere top, but it was a bit short therefore I decided to make a dress with a combination of the cream sweater.

The rib of the top was            nice to use as the finish            of the skirt.

I have shorten the sleeves
so they are 3/4 long.

- and I'm happy with the
outcome! 😊

Asymmetric Jacket & Skirt

I love asymmetric Lines! The hoodie, sleeves and everything is Great! ! 💋
I have used wool from a Norwegian factory and it's so warm and delicious.
For the hoodie and the bottom of the sleeves I have used black satin.
The asymmetric skirt is made of the same wool fabric.
I had to use a twin-needle for the hem and edges.
I have made a Skirt like this before in wool blends, but then the edges didn't fray so it was easy just to cut the skirt without seam-allowance for the hem.
I think the two piece looks nice on my lovely model Sara 😍
