Wool Top

Image
I love to wear wool garments this time of year :) This is based on BurdaStyle pattern #115 08/2015  and I have made  another top  of this pattern earlier. The black wool is a transparent, but it's very soft  and I think it's nice to combine with.   Burdastyle pattern #115 08/2015

Duo fabric Sweater

Image
This is a great pattern for a top or a sweater. It's also nice to combine two colors or two different fabric.  I have used wool ribbed fabric together with quilted blend jersey. The pattern is from BurdaStyle 04/2009.

Elephant shirt

My sweet little model Tonje is a real cutie! I made this elephant shirt for her and I think she looks very Happy with it :) It's based on a pattern from BurdaStyle 05/2006.

Knot Blouse

Image
I was curious about this pattern,  so I had to try it.. It's special with the opening at the shoulder seams, and I like the pleats in front. I have used a little button at the back of the neck for the opening. I thought it would be nice with a double fabric for the knot, but since I have used medium jersey it is a bit heavy,  but it's also possible to tie it on the back part :) Burdastyle pattern #105 11/2016

Sara's Deer Dress :)

Image
With the golden trees and snow white deers Sara looks wonderful in her new dress. It has small pleats at the shoulders but I omitted the pleats at the waist of the skirt. I won the fabric in a sewing competition  which you can see  here  if you like :)

Marfy Blouse

Image
I'm singing in the snow ♪♫ For the time being I like sewing blouses and try out new patterns. This is a pattern from Marfy catalogue 2014/2015. I found the the fabric at www.stoffogstil.no It's a soft viscose  and great for a blouse.  I like the detail with the little tie in front, and it makes it a bit special :)

Shirt with Tie

Image
Bright colors makes me happy :) This is a pattern from an older BurdaStyle magazine 07/2005. I made small button holes for the tie and it could be nice to leave it open with a top underneath as well. At this time of year I prefer a long sleeved shirt, but I'm sure it can be nice with a short sleeved top as well :) I have used medium weight jersey for this.

Polo Neck Dress

Image
Since I had this soft cotton jersey in my stash  I thought it would be nice for a cozy dress like this :) The neck was a bit high, so I prefer to bend it in, or to leave it open at the back.                    Instead of sewing the zipper all up to the top of the neck  I have used buttons as shown on the picture. Burdastyle Pattern #113 09/2016 Grey is easy to cheer-up with a nice color,  and red is always a great choice, or a colorful scarf :)
