Printed Top

Image
I have made an Aquarius Top  of this pattern before, and since I like the style very much I decided to make a printed chiffon top as well. It is an easy pattern, but I think it's special with the little triangles at the neck in front.                                                          Burdastyle pattern #118 04/2016

Chiffon Blouse

Image
This pattern is great both for sewing a blouse or a sweater. Since I had this lovely chiffon, which I bought in Singapore a while ago, I thought it was the right choice for a blouse. I have combined it with black cotton voile for the cuffs, bias around the neck and for lining. The sleeves are transparent and without lining. I like those big cuffs :) BurdaStyle pattern #108 08/2016 Thanks for featuring My Blouse BurdaStyle!

Linen Jacket & Skirt

Image
Theses are my favorite patterns from "My Image" 2011 :) I like garments with top-stitching and white on black is a great choice! The fabric is a combination of linen and cotton, and it's very comfy to wear. The buttons for the jacket is just for decoration, but a great detail since they are  square with half white and black :)  I have made a  Grey Jacket with Red top-stitching   and a  Skirt  of the same pattern earlier. All pcs for the skirt are ready for cutting :)

Pleated Blouse

Cotton voile is so comfy to wear and it's great for sewing blouses even if it is transparent. I wanted to make a blouse which I could wear together with my  Panel Leggings  I chose to use the same satin I have used for the leggings as binding around the neck and bottom of the sleeves. Since the sleeves were a bit long I made a little pleat and sew small buttons at the seam, same as the back button. I  have made an  Earlier project  of the same pattern, then I used silk which is very delicate.

Baby's Present :)

Image
I wanted to make a present for my niece little daughter. The pattern is from Ottobre 01.2012. I thought the printed jersey is very nice combined with white for the body. The pants and hat are also made of jersey, and it's comfy to wear for the baby girl :)

Fly away Dress ;)

Image
Oh, I wish I could fly... ;-)   This is a recent dress made of the same pattern as my   Easy Pique Dress   I have used crinkled Georgette, and maybe you can see that the stripes in the fabric goes vertical for the skirt and horizontal for upper part. The white is a knitted fabric.  This is a perfect dress for travelling, it's comfortable and it doesn't crinkle.  BurdaStyle Pattern #101C 06/2016

Raglan Sweater

Image
This is a great pattern, and I thought the striped knitted fabric I bought at Stoff & Stil  would be nice for this project. I had to shorten the sleeves a bit since I didn't have enough fabric. The neck is quite big so it was not necessary with the zipper, but anyway it's a great detail and it's nice wearing it open as well. I have made another  Cozy Raglan Sweater  before and I like this style a lot :)                 Burda pattern #109A 10/2015
