Floral Jumpsuit

Image
Jersey is a great fabric, both to wear and sewing with. I have used a pattern from Burda Easy Fashion F/S 2017. The jumpsuit has pockets in the side seams and rubber-band at the waist and neck. I think Sara looks pretty in her new outfit :)                                                               Pattern #4C FS/2017

Scuba Jacket

Image
Scuba is nice sewing with! You can see the scuba is quilted and coated if you look closely, so I think it will be nice to wear even if it's raining :) I found the pattern in a Spanish magazine; Tendencias de Moda 05/2013. The silver zipper is a pop-up for this jacket and makes it unique. The pockets is easily sewn on the front panels. Since the fabric is heavy the collar could stay up or lay down, depends on the mood :)

Fancy Pockets

This is my new TR Dress based on  Shingo Sato's Transformational Reconstruction. It's time consuming since the sewing has to be very precisely, but it's worth the effort!  As you can see, there are no seam on the shoulders or at the sides of the top. The dress is based on pattern #104 from BurdaStyle 10/2016. It has fancy pockets, but still it's feminine. I have used woven linen, but I had to wash it before sewing to keep the color nicely. I have only lined the top, and I'm soooo Happy to finish the dress ;-)     Burdastyle pattern #104 10/2016 I have made  Pink Dress  of the same pattern earlier.

Bell Sleeve Blouse

Image
It's amazing how bell sleeves can make a blouse unique! I have combine woven viscose with micro-satin. The pattern is from BurdaStyle June issue and I think it's a great pattern. You can dress it up together with a skirt or simply wear it with jeans. I think Sara looks wonderful in her new blouse :)    Spread your little wings and fly away....   BurdaStyle pattern #102 06/2017

Bow tank with Flowers

Meet my Holiday friend in Copenhagen♥ This is my second version of this pattern. I have used cotton fabric which I bought at  Truro Fabrics  web shop in England.   The fun thing with the tie for this blouse,  is that you can use it knotted in front or at the back.  I made the slit at the back a bit shorter this time because I thought it was nicer. I have hand-stitched around the armholes and around the neck.  If you like, you can see my first version  here .   Burdastyle pattern #110 05/2017

Integrated Flounce Blouse

Image
I was so lucky to find this fabric in a local fabric shop in my hometown Haugesund ♥ The flowers are printed through the fabric so it was great for this pattern. The integrated flounce is cut together with the front part,  so the inside fabric is shown on the outside.  At first I wanted to omit the tie for the bow, but at last I changed my mind. Then I can wear it with the tied bow as well :) The Skirt  is an earlier project made of linen. Burdastyle pattern #109 05/2017

Fancy Shirt :)

Image
This fabric was great to use to make a shirt for a handsome young man!  It's made of viscose/cotton so it's comfy to wear. I have used black cotton voile for the back yoke and at the end of the sleeves. I made one pocket on the left side for glasses etc. I hope it will be the favorite shirt for holiday this year :) Burdastyle pattern #143 06/2016
