Cutout Back Dress

Image
All of a sudden I was able to find the perfect pattern to use with this lovely fabric! I love sewing summer dresses,  and I think it's nice with the opening at the back :)  have used viscose fabric which are light and falls very nicely for the skirt. The zipper are sewn at the left side with a little hook on top. I had to line the dress since the fabric are light, and I have used cotton voile as lining.  Burdastyle pattern #117 04/2017

Lace Blouse

Orange gives me Energi! That's why I love this color ♥ This is an easy lace blouse with slopers in front. I have used sport stretch as lining since the lace is transparent, but not for the short sleeves. The fabric is stretchy so I did'nt have to make an opening at the back. I've made  Blue Lace Blouse  earlier, but then I used buttons at the back. The  Linen Skirt  with flowers is from  an earlier project.  Burdastyle pattern #131 05/2012

Red & Black Dress

It's my first time using jersey for this technique.  I have used courtelle jersey combined with black sport stretch, but I think it worked out well. As basic pattern I have used BurdaStyle pattern #103 01/2016    but I've made my own twist with the pattern:)  I have made another dress  of this pattern before,  but then it's a two pcs-set with a dress and a long-sleeve top.

Sabina Dress

P hoto print is so pretty!    This is an excellent fabric  for an easy dress.            I had to find a pattern which could show the photo print. This is a pattern I would like to try for a long time from Sabina 02/2013.  It's gathered at the neck, both in front and back. The fabric is cotton satin and I have used micro satin for the lining.

Orange dress

I wanted so badly to try this McCall pattern! Since I didn't have it, I made my own version, and I'm very happy with it :) I have combined three different fabric; viscose jersey as main fabric bright orange sport stretch underneath the lace lace stretch fabric as diagonal borders and short sleeves.  Jersey is nice sewing with, and it's comfy to wear. Since the fabric is stretchy it's not necessary with a zipper.   I had to neaten the lace to the sport stretch before sewing it together with the other pieces.       McCall's 7538

Boy's T-shirt and pants

This is a charming boy with new outfit! It's an easy T-shirt, but the fabric makes it special:-)             The pants is made of sweatshirt fabric with side-pockets and two back-pockets. Both patterns are from Ottobre 3/2017.

Jacket with zipper

White goes with everything, and a white jacket is perfect for hot summery days! :) This is a great pattern from BurdaStyle 05/2008, and I like specially the feminine waist. The pocket flaps are just for decoration. I have used medium woven cotton fabric, but it would be better with a bit of elastane. I have made another Jacket  with abstract print earlier.
