Knotted Midi-Dress

Image
When I saw this dress in BurdaStyle Januar issue, I knew that I had to make it ♥ Hila, who has the blog  Saturdaynightstitch.com , started the #burdachallenge2018  and of course I love to participate with this dress 😊  It's an easy pattern to make.  I chose to use velour fabric, and it's very comfy to wear, so I'm Happy with the outcome! 😍 Burdastyle pattern #101 01/2018 Thanks for featuring my Dress BurdaStyle!

Seventies Style Blouse

This is one of the most exclusive fabric I have been sewing with. It's a silk satin and it's really delicious to wear! When I saw this fabric it was screaming at me,  and I fell in love with it at the first site 💕  I had to find the right pattern, and I knew I have been waiting  for the right time to try this pattern.   This is definitely slow fashion because I had to hand-stitch a lot. I'm enjoying sewing in the sun on our holiday.  To make it look nice I had to hand-stitch both around the sleeves, neck and hem.  Burdastyle pattern #114 01/2016 This is how the front part should have look like if I had follow the pattern instruction, but I since I have used a flower printed fabric it wasn't nice to have a seam in the middle. I was so Happy that I had enough fabric to cut a new front part 😊

Pleated Plaid Trousers

I was so curious about this pattern  from BurdaStyle 12/2017. I bought the fabric at  stoffogstil.no  and my plan was to use it as lining for a jacket,  but then I realized it would be nice for these pants as well. When sewing with plaid fabric it's all about cutting the pieces very carefully so the squares matches exactly.    The  Waistcoat  is an earlier project, and so is the  Wool Top   Gardermoen, Oslo Airport.
